Recently the St. Marys Rotary Club welcomed Kirsten Roberts who is a 10th Grader at Elk County Catholic High School. Kirsten came to a meeting with her Grandpa Rotarian Bob Roberts. Kirsten will help with the annual Beef Sale, and always lends a helping hand with Project Gifts and other Club Projects. She is pictured with her Grandpa Bob Roberts, and Club President Chris Gray.
This week the St. Marys Rotary Club welcomed Joe Jacob from the St. Marys Boys and Girls Club. Joe talked about what the club offers and answered questions from the membership. Joe was the guest of Rotarian John Salter and is pictured with John and Club President Betty Kruger. The club extends thanks to Joe for stopping by.
This week the St. Marys Rotary Club recognized its outgoing president Betty Kruger. She was presented a Rotary Gaval, and a Paul Harris Fellow by the club members for her service over the past year. Betty has served the club with a great spirit, and she will be moving on to other employment outside the area soon. Betty also passed the club leadership to the new President Chris Gray. She is pictured here with Chris and Club Secretary Vern Kreckel III. The St. Marys Rotary Club extends its best wishes to Betty and her husband Gary as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.
Recently Rotarian Bob Roberts from the St. Marys Rotary Club visited the Emporium Rotary Club. He was the guest of Emporium Rotarian Denny Neal.
Members of the St. Marys Rotary Club participated in the annual Memorial Day Parade held on Monday. The members enjoyed handing out candy and having the chance to visit with the public.
